New yam festival of Njaba L.G.A

New yam festival (Known as ire ji in Igbo land,) took place today at Akah land Njaba LGA. The old umuaka, formally it was made up of Ten villages. But now 9 Autonomous communities and have 4 political Wards  which is Akah ward 1,2,3,and 4. Came up today as one family to have their new yam festival (ire ji) The Hon. Member representing Njaba state constituency at the IMO state house of Assembly in the person of Hon. Amb. Uju onwudiwe use the opportunity to thank the people of Akah land for organizing such a wonderful programme. However she advice's. Them to be  their brothers keeper and continued to show love and maintain peace among them selves. Also urged them that Autonomous should not bring division rather it is for the sake of political development. She also urges other communities in Njaba to emulate this kind gesture. Also, his Excellency the peoples Governor Dr Owelle Anayo Rochas Okorocha. Ably represented by Hon.Uche best mbanaso the mayor of orlu zone.Also delivered his  Excellency good will message.and also urge the people of orlu zone and the state entirely to emulate such a peaceful co existence gathering.other dignitaries includes hon Born Nnaka formal TC chairman Njaba, and other dignitaries both state and federal council of Royal  fathers etc.
