IMO 2019: HOW IS MADUMERE QUALIFIED?

As the whistle to announce the take off of the 2019 elections is drawing closer, political gladiators are beginning to break the grounds with a view to finding out the rate of individual's acceptance by the general public, especially interested parties in the poll.

Without mincing words, the era in which electorates cast vote base on the quantum of finacial gratification is facing off, considering the height of abandonment, neglect and inglorious hunger and starvation in the country as a result of economic downturn. It is no doubt that the people are beginning to query the credentials and leadership credibilityof those clamouring to fit in into the number one position in Imo State. As a result of this technical agitation and curiosity to know, the writer was moved to probe if the Deputy Governor of the state is qualified to wear the big shoe.

However, after much and tideous research on the person in review, it was unequivocally and justly ascertained that one of the most selling points of any leader hinges on his personal, public and external credibility towards one another.

From every indications, credibility of a leader allows his subordinates to look at him as a reliable source for information and decision making. A leader with credibility has gained the respect of his peers and staff members by displaying strong, positive attributes. Credibility can translate into improved staff performance under his guidance and effective relationships with the people.

Honesty is a major part of establishing credibility in creating a sense of trust between you and your subordinates and this is what has kept Prince Madumere outstandingly different from other hopefuls. Suffice to say that developing a reputation for giving honest and truthful information that can be verified if necessary goes a long way towards gaining people's respect and establishing credibility. This is a key to Eze MAdumere's personal credentials.

Obviously, every outstanding leader as the number two citizen of Imo State has detractors that do not accept his credible traits and as such doubt his abilities to steer the ship of Imo governance, but his strength of character is a trait that helps him to establish credibility as a leader, while his panache for ignoring detractors helps him to show that strength, disregard naysayers and work hard to achieve positive results at all times.

Prince Madumere as a leader likes Education, this he displayed by continually, and openly pursuing further education after having bagged degrees in different fields is an indication that he is not jack of all trades and master of none, but special specie willing to do the work as expected.

As a competent leader, he has more than a basic understanding of his field to develop credibility with the good people of Imo State. As an administrator and Social scientist, Prince Madumer is an expert in his field with the ability to analyze a situation and develop several potential solutions.

He is an action packed personality and a credible leader, he uses actions along with words to lead and performs in his capacity as Deputy Governor. He is focused on the goals he is charged with and guides the people towards achieving goals. While other leaders lose credibility when they get off track and do not take the actions necessary to help individuals and their subordinates reach focused objectives,  Prince Eze Madumere Mfr tries his best to raise the younger ones and ensures they become relevant to the society.

Without much ado, to establish credibility, a leader must be accountable for his decisions and actions, no wonder when he discovers that a mistake has been done, he owns up to it and takes the steps necessary to correct the error.

Glaringly, working with subordinates while maintaining a position of authority, as opposed to talking down to your staff, helps to develop leadership credibility, and this is one of his unique selling points. He shows respect to his staff members' individual needs, abilities and opinions to help gain their loyalty, hence I submit that indeed, the Prince of Mbieri kingdom is eminently qualified to lead the small, the big and the mighty in Imo State should he is called upon to govern.
